Gossip is not... expressing an opinion. Think about it...
If you want services, you go to Angie's List because when you want services, you want the very best. If you want to hire someone, you get references. So if you are wanting to make friends, you want healthy friendships. Also "birds of a feather flock together."
Expressing an opinion and asking for an opinion is not gossip. However always consider the source. And keep in mind that opinions are subjective. Abusers will twist healthy choices for their own agenda. You must be smart about who you choose to be friends with. A healthy person will not control you or play god with your life. A healthy person will let you go. God gives us all free will so why can't we allow free will to each other?
