Whoosh!

Foggy & Blurry

This day has gone by so fast...  I got a lot done but I still didn't get to do everything that I wanted to do today.  And now we have to say good-bye to March because April's coming fast.  And did I do my taxes?  No, not yet...  Procrastination destination...  Sweet dreams!

Some Bunny Loves You...

You Hope!

There's a lot of cute cards out there that celebrate Easter for so many different reasons.  This has been an unusual year in that Ash Wednesday fell on Valentine's Day and Easter falls on April Fool's Day.  This is no joke but an odd coincidence.

Friday?

Saturday?

Ever have days where you don't know if you are coming or going?  I think I got my days mixed up.  Don't ask me why but I went through today thinking it was Saturday but it was really Friday!  Uh oh!  That happens sometimes in our fast-paced world.  Lol!

Don't Laugh...

But my goal in life is to be...  A Cartoon Lately!

Didn't you ever wish for this?  It sounds fun don't you think?  I was at a local library recently and one of the staff members showed me her "bitmoji."  Her "bitmoji" went ice skating and won the gold in the Olympics.  LOL!  How fun is that?  Live a little, laugh a lot!  :)

By the way, don't ever be in a position that you have to be outlined in chalk...  I'm just saying!

Yadda Yadda Yadda

Yadda

Yadda yadda yadda.  Yadda yadda.  Yadda yadda yadda yadda.  Yadda yadda.  Yadda yadda yadda.  Yadda yadda.  Yadda yadda yadda.

Don't you wish you knew what that was about?  Lol!  :)

Elephants & Deer

Time to Feed the Birds...

I have no idea why but I keep meeting authors all over the place.  I did not know that so many people were writers in this neck of the woods.  This particular author has written a book about Woodrow Wilson and I was hanging out with him and his wife recently.  Hmmm...  will I ever write a book?  It seems overwhelming.  Publishers keep asking me.  We will see...

Once Upon A Time

A Moment...

In the past year I have met a number of couples that have been married for longer than I have been alive or close to.  Each couple has their own unique story of how they met and fell in love:  Kind of like the mini segments embedded in the movie When Harry Met Sally.

Usually it was a meeting purely by chance:  For instance, if they had not done this then that would not have happened.  Some couples met because they each traveled halfway around the world.  Pondering this, the odds of you ever meeting the right person sounds almost impossible except that these couples did find each other and have actually stayed together.

Sometimes finding the right person is not a straight line from one point to another.  Sometimes you meet people who point you in the right direction of the one you are meant to be with.  We all meet people all the time but until you spend time getting to know someone you really don't know if you are meant to be together or not.  Sometimes you date someone and realize that this person would be perfect for someone else.

I remember a friend telling me that she knows all these nice people and how it would be nice to have them meet each other.  Sometimes what happens is a nice person meets a not so nice person and marries them only to end up living a hell on earth.  Some decisions require a lot of wisdom, don't you think?.

I have met a lot of super nice people throughout my life but I have come to the realization that just because someone is nice doesn't guarantee you will fall in love with them.  You know?  And then there is a vast difference between love and lust.  And some people fall into the lust trap too easily.  Personally I think love trumps lust all the time however you can actually find both in the same person sometimes.

It's something to think about...  but having listened to all these stories from all these couples makes you believe in love again:  The lasting kind...  Happy St. P Day!  :)

Lonely Planet

Where?

So I was listening to the radio today and it said that Denver, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. are the three loneliest cities in our country.  She went on to say that people who lived in these cities felt that if anything happened to any of them then no one would know or care.  If that is the case make sure you know someone before moving to one of these cities.

Some people need people like they need air.  Others are independent and can pretty much amuse themselves.  You can be the loneliest in a crowd.  And you can be totally content being by yourself.  It just depends on who you are.

Life is Full...

Of Surprises

When you least expect it...  So what do you do when you find yourself surprised?  There are things in life that you hope for...  Finding the right mate, finding your dream job, finding out about who you are as a person...  So what happens when you finally figure it out?  When you finally have that "ah-ha" moment?  Are you surprised?

Move Ahead

Once Again

It's that time again.  Time to lose an hour and sleep a little less.  I think sometimes our bodies already know that it's time to change back again:  Back and forth...  The chicken and the egg...  What came first I wonder?

One Step Forward

One Step Back

Sometimes in life you need to go back in order to go forward.  This is not always a bad thing as it gives you an opportunity to go back and fix your mistakes and to learn from your failures.  The weird thing is that you can be as fearful of success as you are of failure.  Maybe in order to be a success you need to learn how to be a failure first so that success doesn't ruin you like it ruins many people.  Humble is the name of the game.

March Modness

A Hint of Pizza

Life in the fast track is bringing in a new age for pizza.  Pizza on the go in exactly eight minutes from when you order it.  Can you call in your order?  No.  You just stop in and order and then you get your pizza.  Mod Pizza originated in Seattle and is another option in our fast paced world.  Bon Appetit!
