Thanksgiving is Coming!

Just the other day we were talking and we realized that next week is Thanksgiving which means that Christmas is not to far behind.  Where did all the time go?  It's going at the speed of light some days it seems.  Remember what really matters during the holidays!  :)

I think it's safe to say that winter is here.  When you wake up to a half feet of snow then you know.  I think I had over ten inches on my car.  I admit snow is pretty but when it's all over your car it is kind of a nuisance.  It's hard to believe that it's almost halfway through November.

It's interesting that some people are exactly who they say they are and then there are the others...  The ones that for some reason don't want to tell the truth so they make up stuff about themselves.  Or lie to the people they say they care about.  There is something refreshing about a genuine person because they are who they are...  Not unlike Popeye...

NOT!  I was recently talking to a friend and her husband on the phone about driving up and down mountain roads.  Do you know what I'm talking about?  Some sections of the road have guard railing while others do not.  My friend's husband told me that he stopped and looked down one of those sections of road and what did he see?  A number of cars that had driven off the cliffs.  I say Yikes!  And double Yikes!

I saw sleet!

Was it really just the other day that I wore shorts?  Because looking out the window I see snow, sleet, rain, hail...  I don't know...  I think this will be a cold winter but I still see people walking and running around in shorts.  Brrr...

It's hard to believe how fast time is going!  So fast...  Do we have time to do everything we want to do?  Thanksgiving and Christmas are not too far away...  This would be a great time to do some fall cleaning!

Actually I mean snow yesterday and gone today because all the snow melted and then the sun came out.  It's an interesting weather pattern.  You can wear winter clothes but then wear shorts again.  I'm always for shorts.
