I don't know a lot about them but I've watched several of their movies and I think they really hit home.  There are these moments during their movies that just make you want to cry.  I call this the cathartic effect.  In fact, I just watched one tonight called War Room.  The title makes you think it might be a war movie but it's actually not.  At least not in the real sense although it is a war between people.  You have to see this movie!

So a while back a friend of mine told me that a friend of hers had seen me somewhere.  I told her I wasn't even in town that weekend so it couldn't have been me.  Another friend of mine said she saw me at an airport and was mad because I had never told her I was coming to town.  I told her it was because it wasn't me.  So now I'm wondering who is my double?  My sister looks a lot like me and she comes to town here and there to visit with friends.  I know people have gotten us mixed up on occasion.  A classmate of hers asked me if I had gone to so and so high school.  It was not me as I graduated in the Windy City.

It's funny...  I remember a guy a friend of mine was dating once who told me that some guy told him that he looked like so and so's brother.  He was like "what" because as it turns out, he was so and so.

Guilty Pleasures

Mmmm...

What does this make you think of?  I think of chocolate, especially dark chocolate with peanuts or almonds inside.  What are guilty pleasures?  They are things you do even if you know they're not good for you.  Now dark chocolate actually is good for you but usually in small doses.  Anything in moderation is for the most part OK but if you partake too much of then watch out.  So be good!  Ok?

So we know about the April rains but what about the wind?  The other day I was struggling to open doors and run my errands because the wind was so strong.  The thing about nature is that there are always two sides, don't you think?  The wind can be gentle like a breeze caressing your face or it can have the devastation of a tornado.

So lately these days I've been listening to iHeartRADIO, which has been kind of interesting because you can pretend you are somewhere else when you are really not.  The thing that throws me off sometimes is that you think the news clips are about where you live but then you realize you really don't live there.  I think I have been in Portland, Oregon and Hawaii lately.  So if you want to wanderlust for music then check this out!

Is Almost Here!

Are your taxes done?  I got mine done with a good financial adviser and turbotax.  Who knew that turbotax was such a great invention?  Especially for those who are not accounting majors.  Unfortunately I had to pay this year!  Ouch!  Show me the money!  Not me though...  For me, it's saying good-bye to my money!  So long, farewell...

Is there a full moon out today?  Today was one of those days where strange and crazy things happened.  And we all nod our heads because we concur.  :)

It was a nice weather day though.  It almost hit the 80's!  Very nice!  Summer is not too far away!  Yeah!  Poolside, here I come!

So lately I have been busy with non-profit events like going to a cocktail reception for the Kidney Foundation and a disco party for Alzheimer's.  Both are good causes and they affect millions upon millions of people worldwide.  Why is it that some people like to help others and some people simply don't care?

So you're not going to believe what I did yesterday...  I was so tired from my busy schedule that I came home and left my keys, ALL OF THEM, hanging off my door.  As I was leaving this morning, I was wondering where my keys were, opened the door, and there they were!  Talk about an eye-opener!  Hello!  Just walk right in!  God was watching over me!

In this tight economy, what do you do to save money?  I recently bought $50 worth of groceries for 16 cents.  It's because I'm a bargain hunter and that was one of my better days.  Usually I can half the total of what I buy with coupons.  It's all about cutting coupons and timing.  You have to time things to get the best deal.

Good skills to have in life:  Make $$$, Save $$$, and Stretch $$$!  :)

Early Sunrise

Easter Morning

Did I do it?  I have always wanted to attend an Easter sunrise service and today I actually did.  Last night a friend of mine texted me and asked me if I was still going.  I texted back yes, so when I awoke around 5am this morning my first thought was to go back to bed, but instead I made myself get up and out.  Another friend joined us and enjoyed a companionable Easter breakfast together complete with a bunny rabbit centerpiece.
