Why?

I am still waiting to hear about the accident...  The insurance company is investigating however I am still waiting to hear from them...  Will the girl who hit my car admit to the truth or will she commit insurance fraud?  Can you live with yourself if you lie?  From what I hear these kinds of things happen all the time however depending on the type of person you are you will either do the right thing or not do the right thing...  With consequences...  Still waiting...

The Lies People Tell

She Said What?

"Honk, Honk, Rattle, Rattle, Crash, Beep, Beep..."  Remember that song?  Well what happens when you are at a stop light on a hill and the light turns green?  And the car in front of you rather than moving forwards actually starts coming backwards at you until CRASH!  Your car is hit...  The other driver gets out and apologizes for hitting your car and says she is to blame.  So you take down her insurance info knowing that all will be OK.  Until...  You call her insurance company which gives you the runaround by not taking your calls and disconnecting you.  Later on you find out through her insurance company that she says that you hit her...  On a hill...  Up an incline...  When you are below her...  And you never took your foot off the brakes because she didn't drive forwards like she was supposed to...  Even when she admits that something was wrong with the engine and is now in the shop...

This has happened to me...  And it has happened to people I know.  Now my initial reaction was to get mad because she is lying.  However what goes around comes around and she will get hers for being dishonest.  However a friend pointed out to me that sometimes these types of things happen for  a reason.  For instance, when it happened to her, it turned out the woman who did this to her was in an abusive relationship and lied out of fear of her husband's wrath.  So does the girl who hit my car fear the wrath of an abusive father?  And why is this insurance company protecting this man?  Is she lying?  Is her father lying?  Or is the insurance company corrupt?  Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

The Geese Keep Crossing the Road

One of these days I will get a picture of geese crossing the road like in the famous Abbey Road however I am not in England so not sure when that will happen.  But that seems to be a famous crosswalk as so many have trod.  Even Snoopy!  :)  Exactly why is it that geese walk when they can fly?  Isn't this what I was asking just the other day?
