If you had a choice would you rather be ordinary or extraordinary?  I remember a news reporter who had a series about the "average joe."  I also remember someone telling me how he was happy just being average:  Average being the status quo.  Not everyone wants to be average though.  Some people like being more than...  Will you settle or will you go over and above?

What a day will bring:  Sometimes good, bad, and ugly...  And sometimes a combination...  I had high hopes for 2017 but it was a mixed up kind of year.  But life is like that.  We all go through good times but we go through bad times too.  But we meet who we meet for a reason...  It's just figuring out the reason that is the puzzle...

Ever have a brain freeze?  I have to admit that the cold weather that we have been having lately does make my brain freeze.  It makes it hard to concentrate, don't you think?  Or maybe it's because our world is going super fast.  The speed of light versus the speed of internet.

Of a New Year!

Are you feeling bright and shiny?  The first day of 2018 is coming to an end.  What did you do today?  I did normal stuff:  I visited a dear friend, ran numerous errands, did some work, did some cooking, a lot of texting...  Life happens, you know?

Well...  This year went by in a flash...  Almost...  There were some parts that slowed down.  Ever notice when you are outside time seems to last forever but when you are inside time goes fast.  Try it!  Just sit outside when it's warmer and time it for an hour.  It goes slow.  At any rate, let's say good-bye to the good, the bad, and the ugly.  Here's to an Awesome 2018!
